Continuous coaching commitment see Nepal & Mongolia awarded B Level membership!

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the Mongolian Football Federation (MFF) have become the latest Member Associations (MA) to be awarded B Level membership in the AFC Coaching Convention for their long-term commitment towards improving coach education in their respective countries.

Theory and practical sessions were held via Zoom in Nepal from 26-29 September and in Mongolia from 21-22 September and 5 October. ANFA’s sessions were led by Sanjeet Singh, Head of Coach Education while Coach Education Director Ganzorig Erdene-Ochir and his assistant Garidmagnai Bayasgalan took charge of the MFF.

Assessors came away impressed by the methods, lecture content, practical demonstrations, organisational abilities and the dedication displayed by tutors and student coaches to lift the overall level of coaching.

ANFA General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar said: “We would like to thank the AFC for this status, which has given us more encouragement and energy. We have always expected support from the AFC in the development of Nepali football.”

MFF General Secretary Terbaatar Dambiijav said: “This membership aligns with the MFF’s 2020-2028 Strategic Programme to improve the quality and number of internationally-qualified professional coaches and trainers. The AFC’s support has opened the door for many Mongolian coaches to improve their skills during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
