Injury keeps Odisha FC’s Arshdeep Singh and Sahil Panwar out of action!

Odisha FC duo of goalkeeper Arshdeep Singh and defender Sahil Panwar are out of action for a few days due to their respective injuries.

Arshdeep has some muscle issues and he has to stay out of the team as a precautionary measure. The 24-year-old custodian from Punjab has been a part of the team from the 2019-20 season of the ISL and has played 25 matches so far in two seasons.

On the other hand, Sahil had twisted his ankle and that has kept the defender out of action for some time now. 22-year-old Sahil, who has represented the India national team in various age-group competitions, has made 37 appearances in the League. He had joined Odisha FC before the ongoing season and was also called up for India Under-23 camp for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2022 Qualifiers. However, he was unable to be a part of the camp after he suffered an injury in the pre-season friendly game against Churchill Brothers.

Both Arshdeep and Sahil are recovering and will be back on the pitch soon with Odisha FC.
