Cordoba CF, Be Pro Football & Lemon Break Sports training camp ends in Mumbai successfully!

The joint football camp between Spanish LaLiga 2 side Cordoba CF, Be Pro Football of Spain and Mumbai based Lemon Break Sports was held between December 26 to 31 at the Santacruz ground of Lions Club in Mumbai.

The four-day Cordoba CF training camp had ended with a video analysis of everything that the 43 children had learned during their sessions. The final day’s work with the youngsters, aged between six and 16, involved passing routines, tactical movements, defensive and attacking play under the watchful eye of coach Andres Vargas.

“This is the first step in a project to spread the Cordoba club brand internationally, along with that of the city’s business community and council, with the backing of LaLiga,” Javier Jimenez, Cordoba’s International Brand Manager, said. “We are delighted with the first stage in Mumbai and are keen to continue working to develop the brand CCFWorldWide.”

The second phase of the programme will take place next month when a delegation of businessmen from Cordoba and the deputy mayor of the city, Pedro Garcia, will travel with Jimenez and representatives from LaLiga to see if the project can be taken even further. During the visit, the 43 campus participants will play a match and afterwards receive diplomas from the club.
