Minerva Punjab FC sign Ravi Kumar, Germanpreet Singh & Loveday Enyinnaya for I-League!

New I-League corporate entrants Minerva Punjab FC have announced another trio of signings in goalkeeper Ravi Kumar, midfielder Germanpreet Singh and Nigerian defender ahead of the clubs I-League debut.

23 year old Uttar Pradesh born goalkeeper Ravi Kumar joins Minerva Punjab FC from Sporting Clube de Goa, whom the former India junior had joined in 2013. In ISL-2 he went on loan to the Delhi Dynamos, but did not play a minute.

Ravi Kumar earlier had been picked up by the Pailan Arrows in 2010 to play for the AIFF Developmental side after his time at the Tata Football Academy in Jamshedpur.

Talented 20 year old Germanpreet Singh born in Gurdaspur returns to play in his home state of Punjab after having started his career at the Tata Football Academy. In 2014 he joined Dempo SC and after now two seasons with the Goan giants moves on to return to play in the I-League.

Germanpreet Singh has played for a number of India junior national teams and last year he made his full senior international debut.

The third signing is that of Nigerian centre back Loveday Enyinnaya, a seasoned campaigner on the Indian football circuit. He first came to India in 2010 to join then Second Division League side Malabar United FC before going on to play for Rangdajied United FC and Royal Wahingdoh FC, while he played for the last year for Sporting Clube de Goa in the I-League and then Goa Pro League.

The latest signed trio brings some much needed experience to Minerva Punjab FC ahead of their I-League debut.
