Courageous Hyderabad FC performance by all-Indian side in Mohun Bagan SG loss!

Two first-half goals hurt Hyderabad FC, as the young Nawabs battle toe-to-toe against the star-studded Mohun Bagan Super Giant at the Saltlake Stadium in Kolkata on Saturday, February 10 night.

First-half goals by Anirudh Thapa and Jason Cummings ensured the three points for the hosts while the young Nizams had their chances but continued not to score.

In the 12th minute, a Dimitri Petratos was put into the back of the net by Anirudh Thapa for his first goal for Mohun Bagan Super Giant.

The Mariners had more of the ball but Hyderabad FC were dangerous on the counter.

The much criticized Aussie striker Jason Cummings doubled the lead in the first half injury time to give the Mariners a comfortable 2-0 half-time lead.

In the second session, Mohun Bagan continue to dominate play but could not add to the score.
