FC Bayern Munich has appointed Dee Kundra as managing director for North, Central and South America to head its New York office. Since 2017 she’s been head of marketing & communications at the German record champions’ US branch.
Andreas Jung, FC Bayern board member for marketing: “Dee Kundra has played a signifcant role in FC Bayern’s successes in the USA in the last five years. FC Bayern is establishing itself more and more with the millions of football fans in this exciting region, and we are convinced that Dee Kundra, together with her team, will continue to drive this development forward.”
Dee Kundra, managing director Americas: “I’m honoured that the FC Bayern board has placed their trust in me. We’re entering an exciting period for football in the whole region, especially with the 2026 World Cup being held in the USA, Canada and Mexico.”
Kundra will continue to work on achieving FC Bayern’s strategic goals in North, Central and South America. She’ll work closely with the headquarters at Säbener Straße, where Moritz Mattes, FC Bayern chief of staff, is reponsible for the management and structure of the offices in New York, Shanghai and Bangkok together with board member Andreas Jung.
