The Indian senior national team has been forced to make a change amongst its goalkeepers with young Dheeraj Singh replacing experienced Amrinder Singh in the SAFF Championship squad.
Amrinder Singh will miss the trip to the Maldives capital Male due to a positive COVID-19 test in Chandigarh.
This give young Dheeraj Singh the chance to make the trip, while he misses the semifinal and potentially final of the ongoing 130th Durand Cup.
India begin their campaign against Bangladesh on October 4.
