The French Football Federation and Noël Le Graët, its president, have announced the extension of Didier Deschamps at the head coach of the France team until July 2026.
Appointed on July 9, 2012 by Noël Le Graët, Didier Deschamps has an exceptional record at the head coach of the France national team – Equipe Tricolore with 89 wins, 28 draws and 22 defeats in 139 matches, 279 goals scored for 119 conceded.
Under his leadership, the France team won the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the 2021 UEFA Nations League, reached the final of UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. It is currently in third place in the FIFA world rankings in which it has been in the top four for the past five years.
Guy Stéphan, Didier Deschamps’ assistant coach; Franck Raviot, the goalkeeper coach; and Cyril Moine, the physical trainer, will also continue their mission with the France national team.
