East Bengal play out goalless draw against Terengganu FC in friendly!

Kolkata giants East Bengal Club friendly match against Malaysian Super League side Terengganu FC on Saturday, October 13 ended in Kuala Lumpur goalless.

The red and gold were the better of the two sides but they lacked finishing and therefore the match ended without any goals.

Interestingly, East Bengal has faced Terengganu FC twice on Indian soil in the 1970s, first a 3-0 win at the 1973 IFA Shield and then a 1-1 draw at the 1977 DCM Trophy.

East Bengal had reached the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on Thursday for their pre-season which is taking place at the MSN Sports Complex – Setiawangsa Sports Complex, Kuala Lumpur from October 4 to 22.

The team could be playing a few more practice matches which will be announced as and when confirmed by the team management.

East Bengal will return to Kolkata on October 22 late night.
