Kolkata giants East Bengal Club has announced that it has signed goalkeeper Lalthuammawia Ralte on loan from ISL side FC Goa for the 2019/20 season.
26 year old Mizoram-born Lalthuammawia Ralte is an agile goalkeeper who started his senior career with Shilling Lajong FC in 2011 and debuted against Goan giants Churchill Brothers the same year. He contributed to the club’s success, taking them to the semifinals of the Federation Cup the same season.
He joined then I-League side Bengaluru FC thereafter in the summer of 2014 and made his debut a few months later and would stay with them until 2018. He had a loan spell with NorthEast United FC in 2015 in-between.
FC Goa signed Lalthuammawia Ralte at the ISL-4 draft but in the winter, he was send on loan to Kerala Blasters.
Now Lalthuammawia Ralte join East Bengal, who hope to solve their goalkeeping woes of the last campaign.
