East Bengal supporters urge West Bengal chief minister to intervene in problems of red & gold!

In September 2020 the legacy officials of East Bengal Club had signed a MoU with Shree Cement transferring the sporting rights of the club to the clubs new investor. The MoU was signed in the presence of West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee. Based on that MoU and out of sheer respect towards Mamata Banerjee, Shree Cement has invested approximately more than 50 Cr so that East Bengal FC can participate in the 2020/21 Indian Super League.

Since then the legacy officials has left no stone unturned to disrespect that agreement. The fraternity of East Bengal supporters has started various social media hashtags #NituOut,, #SignAndResign, #RajaEbarCharoGodi to emphasise their discontent over the behaviour of legacy officials.

EAST BENGAL the REALPOWER (EBRP) believes if Shree Cement leaves due to the non-cooperation of East Bengal Club officials, that will not only be a bad day for the club but also a blatant disrespect of the West Bengal chief minister. Also this will create a bad precedence which will discourage any large corporate to invest in this beautiful game in Bengal.

Through the campaign ‘Didi Bollei Soi Hobe’ EBRP is requesting to all the supporters of East Bengal FC to record their message for the West Bengal chief minister urging her to facilitate the signature of the final agreement.

EBRP requests all the supporters to keep in mind about the COVID-19 restrictions in their respective locations, while recording their message for the West Bengal chief minister. REAL POWER will collect all these clippings, photos, messages and will reach out to the West Bengal chief minister through their social media handles.
