Eintracht Frankfurt joins European Football for Development Network (EFDN)!

The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) is a network of football clubs, leagues and associations, who work together on social responsibility at European level.

131 clubs, leagues and associations from 31 European countries, including Bundesliga teams such as Bayer 04 Leverkusen and also top European clubs like Benfica, FC Barcelona, FC Everton, Liverpool FC, FC Chelsea, Ajax Amsterdam, FC Basel and Paris Saint-Germain, currently belong to the EFDN. The purpose of the network is to use the power of football in many respects as an instrument for social change. For this, the EFDN supports and advises its members and offers opportunities to exchange knowledge and experiences at European level, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of national and local initiatives in the field of football for sustainable development.

Through its membership of the European Football for Development Network, Eintracht Frankfurt is raising its social commitment to international level. “Our club is involved in many community projects; social responsibility has always been a concern of ours. We can reach many people through sport and we are convinced of the unifying power of sport,” said Michael Otto, executive board member of Eintracht Frankfurt e.V.
