Elegance, a return to simplicity and a very special anniversary characterise the new official kits that Erreà has created for The Dale (Rochdale AFC) ahead of the new football season.
With minimal and clean lines, the home shirt is fully in keeping with tradition with its thin vertical black lines on a classic blue background. The distinctive rounded V-neck has a white trim as do the sleeve edges.
The away kit is stylish and bold and, as with last year’s kit, it comes with a brand new colour scheme and graphics. Black Mandarin collar and sleeve trims set off a maroon shirt featuring a delicate pattern of incomplete vertical lines, again in black.
Close-fitting, the home and away kits stand out for their high technical level and the use of the revolutionary and innovative Ti-energy 3.0 fabric, characterised by its antiviral, antibacterial, protective and water-repellent properties.
This unique success in the world of fabrics was made possible by the use of two separate technologies: the zinc oxide nanoparticles, permanently encapsulated in the fibres, which have antiviral and antimicrobial properties, and the Minusnine J1+ treatment, which makes the fabric super-impermeable to liquids. This dual function allows the fabric to form an effective protective barrier against droplets, liquids and micro-organisms.
The third shirt has been made with great attention to detail and pays tribute to Rochdale’s 100th season in the Football League.This celebratory kit has a shirt collar and wide black and white vertical stripes. The team’s emblem and the Erreà logo, embroidered tone-on-tone, provide the finishing touches.
