Erreà Sport and Port Vale Football Club are proud to present the new 2020-2021 home shirt, the result of a collaboration with a very special fan: Robbie Williams.
This special kit, produced by Erreà for the Stoke-on-Trent club, has brought together the genuine passion and enthusiasm of all those involved in its creation.
The bond between Port Vale FC and Robbie Williams goes back a long way, and is rooted in the singer’s childhood, his unwavering support for his boyhood team and his love of his home city and its people. His love for the club had led the superstar to schedule his long-awaited “Coming Home” charity concert for June 2020 at the team’s Vale Park stadium. Sadly the Covid-19 pandemic meant the gig has had to postponed to summer 2021.
The result of the collaboration and Robbie’s ideas is an original, audacious kit that has succeeded in mixing a number of concepts – taking inspiration from Robbie’s album covers, the stage design of his shows and some of the most iconic, recognisable outfits from his career.
The home shirt features an aggressive, eye-catching pattern, but also expressing a blend of passion for the game and for the team and pure love for music and design.
This was a truly splendid, stimulating experience for Erreà and we were honoured to be part of this ground-breaking collaboration. Our sincerest thanks therefore go to Port Vale F.C. and Robbie Williams for this fantastic opportunity.
