Ethiopia’s Fikru Teferra joins team training of Mohammedan Sporting!

Ethiopian striker Fikru Teferra Lemessa joined training with the Mohammedan Sporting Club first-team on Tuesday, March 20 as the Biswajit Bhattacharya-coached side prepares for their upcoming Second Division League Preliminary Round Group C fixture against TRAU FC in Imphal, Manipur.

Fikru, after spending some time at the gym, trained separately from his teammates with physical trainer Rudra Pritam Roy at Mohammedan Sporting Club ground having arrived in the city this past Saturday.

The 32-year-old, scorer of the first goal in Indian Super League history, signed for Mohammedan Sporting during the January transfer window and he is arguably the biggest name plying his trade in the Second Division League this season.

Yesterday, the Black Panthers registered Ethiopian international Fikru Teferra Lemessa at the Indian Football Association (IFA) Office.
