Following a decision yesterday from the authorities in Plovdiv to revoke their authorisation to host the European Qualifier match Bulgaria vs Hungary, the Bulgarian Football Union has provided UEFA with necessary guarantees from the relevant local authorities and stadium management in Sofia to host the match at the Vasil Levski National Stadium without spectators.
UEFA held a meeting with the Bulgarian Football Union and the authorities responsible for public order in Sofia to review all the measures that will be put in place and received the necessary reassurances.
UEFA hereby confirm that the match will take place at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia on Thursday, November 16 at 18:00 CET (19:00 local time) behind closed doors.
