Experienced midfielder Sanju Pradhan joins Minerva Punjab FC!

Former I-League champions Minerva Punjab FC have announced their first Indian signing of the 2019/20 in experienced midfielder Sanju Pradhan.

29 year old West Sikkim-born Sanju Pradhan is a product of the Namchi Sports Hostel, who went on to play for the Sports Academy of Sikkim before being spotted by then Air India coach Bimal Ghosh in the 2006 Sikkim Governor’s Gold Cup alongside Nirmal Chettri.

Sanju spend two seasons for Air India before moving to East Bengal Club in 2008. After five seasons with the red and gold in which he also captained the club, Sanju moved on to play for Dempo SC, Salgaocar FC, NorthEast United FC, a return on loan to East Bengal Club, FC Pune City and DSK Shivajians FC.

The last couple of years, Sanju Pradhan has been a squad player of Mumbai City FC, where he made 26 appearances over two season.

In Sanju Pradhan, Minerva Punjab FC have brought in one of India’s most experienced wingers, who will add quality to their squad.
