FC Bayern Global Academy set to launch in Fall 2023!

FC Bayern Munich is excited to announce the launch of the FC Bayern Global Academy starting September 2023. The FC Bayern Global Academy is a unique opportunity for talented U17 players from the United States of America to form a team and train for a full season in our youth academy, the FC Bayern Campus.

Selected players, born in 2007 and 2008, will receive professional training under UEFA-Licensed FC Bayern youth coaches, following the philosophy of Germany’s most successful club. For 8 months, the program includes everything players need to develop their game: From premium housing and nutrition to medical supervision and opportunities to compete against other elite youth teams.

The talents will receive exposure to German scouts and coaches, increasing the chances of being recruited by local teams or potentially join our international U19 team, FC Bayern World Squad. The program is also designed to help young players develop important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, independence, and resilience.

Scouting for the FC Bayern Global Academy will be lead by our American youth soccer collaborator International Soccer Academy (ISA). ISA is an organization with a proven track record of identifying and developing top talents in the US and abroad.

Halil Altintop, Sports Director FC Bayern Campus: “We are happy to welcome a group of talented young players from the United States at our FC Bayern Campus. Our goal is to offer the best training conditions possible, and contribute to their development over the course of the next eight months.”

The launch of the FC Bayern Global Academy represents a significant step forward in the club’s commitment to developing young talent in the US. Whether you are a young player looking to improve your skills or a talented prospect looking to take your game to the next level, the FC Bayern Global Academy is the perfect place to start your journey to become a professional soccer player.

Dee Kundra, Managing Director Americas: “The US soccer landscape has established itself as a huge source of talent. We are committed to nurturing the next generation of players, offering the chance for them to grow in a world class academy like ours.”
