FC Bengaluru United (FCBU) consolidated their place at the top of the KSFA Super Division 2025–26 table with a commanding 3–0 win over Rebels FC. Goals from Ryan (40′), Nikhil (50′), and Linky (75′) ensured a comfortable victory in a game FCBU controlled from start to finish.
After dictating possession and steadily building pressure, the breakthrough arrived in the 40th minute. Ryan capitalised on a loose clearance at the edge of the box, driving a low shot into the bottom corner that the keeper couldn’t keep out. The opening goal reflected FCBU’s dominance, with Rebels offering little threat to test the defence in the first half.
The second half continued in the same pattern. In the 50th minute, Ribhav’s corner was initially punched away by the keeper, but the ball was recycled back into the box where Nikhil rose to head home from close range, doubling the lead. FCBU maintained their grip on the game and sealed the result in the 75th minute when Linky pounced on a defensive lapse, slotting the ball past the onrushing keeper after Rebels failed to clear a bouncing ball.
With another clean sheet and three more goals, FCBU’s convincing win underlined their control and composure, as they strengthened their hold on the top spot in the KSFA Super Division standings.
