In South Asia, Afghanistan (147th) remain top ahead of the Maldives (160th) and India (162nd) one in third. Thereafter come Bangladesh (178th), Nepal (180th), Bhutan (186th), Sri Lanka (187th) and Pakistan (190th).
India’s next opponent in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup playoffs are Laos, who are behind India as 176th in the FIFA Men’s World Rankings.
At the top, Argentina stay in pole position with 1532 points ahead of Belgium (1,364 pts), Chile (1,353 pts), Colombia (1,337 pts) and FIFA World Cup winners Germany (1,309 pts).
