FIFA Women’s World Rankings: India stay 57th, USA retain top spot!

Earlier today the latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the second rankings of 2021, India stay in 57th position behind Venezuela, but ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

India have 1425 points, the same as in the last quarter and they retain their 11th position in the Asian (AFC) Women’s rankings.

The India Women haven’t played any games in this quarter and no games are currently planned.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of Nepal (100th), Bangladesh (137th), Sri Lanka (143rd) and the Maldives (144th) and Bhutan (161st) with Pakistan currently unranked.

There were changes in the top 5. The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup winners United States (2,197 pts) retain top spot ahead of Germany (2,073 pts), while France (2,039 pts) and the Netherlands (2.035 pts) switched spots ahead of Sweden (2,011 pts) completes the top five.
