FIFA World Rankings: India move-up to 104th, Brazil stay No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the June rankings, India gain to two spots into 104th behind New Zealand, but ahead of Madagascar; while Brazil retain their No. 1 spot.

India have 1199 points, 25 points more than last month and they stay in 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India played three 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers against Cambodia, Afghanistan and Hong Kong, which they all won in the last window and they could officially play again in the September window.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (156th), Nepal (176th), Bhutan (186th), Bangladesh (192nd), Pakistan (196th) and Sri Lanka (207th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There was a change across the top 5. Brazil (1,838 points) stay ahead of Belgium (1,822 points), while Argentina (1,771 pts) swap spots with 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France (1,765 pts), and England (1,737 pts) to complete the top five.
