FIFA World Rankings: India move up to 99th, Argentina stay No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the July rankings, India gained one spot to become 99th behind Belarus, but ahead of Lebanon; while Argentina remain No. 1.

India have 1.209 points, four more than the last rankings and they remain in 18th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India won the SAFF Championship title in Bengaluru, which has helped to raise India’s rankings.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (155th), Nepal (175th), Bhutan (185th), Bangladesh (189th), Pakistan (201st) and Sri Lanka (204th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There was no change across the top 5. 2022 FIFA World Cup champions Argentina (1,844 pts) stay ahead of France (1,844 pts), Brazil (1,828 points), England (1,797 pts) and Belgium (1,789 pts) to complete the top five.
