Forca Goa Foundation wraps up its final zone of the Little Gaurs League, Tuem!

The Forca Goa Foundation (FGF) is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the fourth and final zone of the Little Gaurs League (LGL) 2024–25 season in the Tuem Zone.

The 2024–25 edition of the Little Gaurs League saw participation from over 1,500 children across four zones: Tuem, Monte de Guirim, Sinquetim, and Vasco. In Tuem alone, we saw a turnout of 27 teams, with 255 players registered. Over a period of five months, the teams competed in a total of 154 matches hosted at the Tuem Panchayat Ground.

The closing day featured a series of intense final matches in the U10 and U12 categories, with the titles riding on the results. In U10, FC Goa Football Schools clinched the title after a thrilling match against Vintage 73 (A). In the U12 final round, Vintage 73 emerged victorious over Laxmi Prasad SC.

We were honoured to have Mr. Jit Arolkar, MLA of Mandrem Constituency; Mr. Prachit Gaonkar, Midfielder for FC Goa; Mr. Prem Dias, former player of Sesa Goa, Dempo, Vasco and Sporting Club de Goa and Mr. Estevan Cardozo, senior associate at Vianaar as our esteemed Chief Guests. A heartfelt thank you to Vianaar for supporting the successful organisation of the league in the Tuem Zone.

Special recognition was also given to the referees and physiotherapists whose contributions ensured that each match upheld the values of fairness, safety, and sportsmanship.

With the curtains closing on yet another exciting and impactful season, the Little Gaurs League continues to encourage grassroots football development in Goa. Congratulations to all participating teams, award winners, and supporters for making this journey a success.
