German Women’s Cup (DFB-Pokal der Frauen) Round 2 draw carried out!

The DFB-Pokal der Frauen (German Women’s Cup) Round 2 draw took place on Monday, August 22. The draw was carried out by former Germany Women’s international Turid Knaak.

The second division club FSV Gütersloh has drawn the big lot and receives the defending champions and German champions VfL Wolfsburg in the second round of the DFB Women’s Cup. FC Bayern Munich is a guest at FC Ingolstadt and the regional league club SV 67 Weinberg can look forward to Eintracht Frankfurt.

For the twelve first division teams of the previous season as well as the four best-placed teams from the 2nd Women’s Bundesliga of the previous season, it is the first game in the current competition, as they have received a bye in the first round.

The second round will take place between September 10 to 12. The final in Cologne will take place on May 18, 2023.
