Germany Women to face France at evening primetime friendly!

The DFB Germany Women’s team remain #hungriGER! Their first home international match after the rousing performances at the UEFA European Championships 2022 in England will be played by the vice-European champions on October 7, 2022 in Dresden. Kick-off is in prime time at 8.30pm live on ARD.

The team of national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg had moved into the final at the UEFA European Championship 2022 in England after a rousing 2-1 victory in the semifinals against France.

Martina Voss-Tecklenburg said, “It’s great that we can present ourselves to the fans in the first home game after the European Championships at a top kick-off time in a great stadium. We want to build on our performances in front of a sold-out crowd against these top-class opponents and are looking forward to the spectators.”

Ticket sales for the international match at the Rudolf Harbig Stadium have started. Tickets can be purchased on the DFB ticket portal or via the ticket hotline (telephone: 069 90 28 38 48).

Seat tickets are available in three categories and cost between 15 and 25 Euros (reduced 10 to 20 Euros). Standing room tickets cost 9 Euros (reduced 7 Euros). Children up to and including the age of 14 pay 8 Euros for all seat categories and 6 Euros for a standing room. Group tickets from ten people cost 8 Euros per person (in the standing area 6 Euros per person) and can be booked for all groups in the ticket portal.

Already in September 2022, the women’s national team is twice away in action. In the last two 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers, the Voss-Tecklenburg team will face Turkey in Bursa on September 3 and Bulgaria in Plovdiv on September 6.
