The draw for the 2018/19 DFB-Pokal (German Cup) 2nd Round will be held at the Deutsches Fußballmuseum (German Football Museum) in Dortmund on Sunday, August 26 at 18:00h CET.
A total of 32 teams will be part of the DFB-Pokal – Second Round draw, which will be carried out by German track and field starlet Gina Lückenkemper and DFB (German FA) Vice-President Peter Frymuth.
The 32 teams will be divided into two pots: Pot 1 will consist of all qualified Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 clubs. The 3rd Division and amteur clubs from the lower division leagues will go into Pot 2.
All teams from Pot 2 will be automatically awarded home games and the 2nd Round matches will be played on Tuesday/Wednesday, October 30/31.
The draw will be broadcasted live by German national tv channel ARD with host Jessy Wellmer as the draw presenter.
