Former champions Salgaocar FC look to extend their lead at the top of the Goa Pro League as they host Guardian Angel SC at the Tilak Maidan in Vasco tomorrow.
Salgaocar FC who are currently in the top spot with 39 points having played 16 games are not going to take things lightly as there are still a number of matches to be played.
In the last meeting between the two clubs, Salgaocar FC got the better of Guardian Angels SC beating them 4-0. Guardian Angel played their last match against Vasco SC who defeated the Vasco side beating them 3-0, while the Green Brigade beat Churchill Brothers 5-0 in their last match.
With Dempo SC and Sporting Clube de Goa both in the hunt for Salgaocar FC’s back, they are left with no room for error, as every point is crucial at this stage. The Tilak Maidan is also adding to their advantage to which the Port Towners will be looking to gain all three points.
