Gokulam Kerala FC sign English striker Antonio German!

I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC have announced the signing of English striker Antonio German for the upcoming 2018/19 season.

26 year old Antonio German is a former hero of the Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League, so he returns to Gods own Country for a third stint in the state of Kerala.

London-born Antonio German started his youth career with Queens Park Rangers and he also made his debut for the west Londoners, but thereafter there were loan spells at Aldershot Town, Southend United and Yeovil Town. In 2011 he joined Stockport County before moving on to Bromley FC and FC Brentford, where he went on loan to Gillingham FC and then joined them permanently in 2013. He again went on loan spells this time to Northampton Town and Aldershot Town.

In the summer of 2015, Antonio German went to India to join Kerala Blasters FC and scored six goals in nine appearances. Thereafter he joined Partick Thistle and returned for ISL-3 to the Blasters but didn’t perform as in his first stint.

He thereafter played for lower league sides in England with Ebbsfleet United, Hemel Hempstead Town and St Albans City.

Now he returns to India and Kerala for a third time, only this time it is not the Kerala Blasters and the Indian Super League, but Gokulam Kerala FC and the I-League, who will hope that Antonio German can recreate his form from his first stint with the Blasters.
