Odisha FC Women’s have signed prodigious young Indian Women’s National Team midfielder Grace Lalrampari Hauhnar. The young star player from Mizoram has signed a long-term agreement with the Juggernauts, making her the third high-profile signing of the Club’s Women’s team.
Grace has represented India at the Youth levels and came into the national limelight with her performances at the 2019 AFC U-19 Women’s Championship qualification, scoring famously in a 1-0 win against Thailand. She was called to the Senior Women’s National team for friendly matches against Vietnam and the South Asian Games in 2019.
At the club level, Grace has played for Kenkre FC, Vakiria FC (MFA Women’s League), Indian Rush Soccer Club, Gokulam Kerala FC, and Sethu FC. She was part of the IWL title-winning Gokulam Kerala FC team in the 2019-20 season. Grace was a member of the second-placed Sethu FC side coached by Odisha FC Women’s head coach Crispin Chettri in the recently concluded IWL 2021-22 season.
She was also part of the Mizoram stateside that reached the semifinals of the Senior Women’s National Football Championship for the first time in the 2021–22 edition.
