The third season of Assam’s first ever Golden Baby League, Greater Guwahati Baby League will commence tomorrow, March 19 at the Krishi Bhawan playground, Six Mile.
The league which is organized by the Guwahati City FC (GCFC) and Sportscraft Management, while it is recognized by the All India Football Federation and Assam Football Association, will be organized in various venues of the city this season and tomorrow opening ceremony and first match day shall be conducted in the Krishi Bhawan field.
There will be four age categories (U-6, U-8, U-10, U-12) in the league which is supported by the Sai Vikash, X’ss, Guwahati School of Excellence, Print Panda and Logo Advertising.
U-6 and U-8 will have 10 teams each, while U-10 will have 16 and U-12 will have 24 teams. A total of 60 teams and more than 600 kids will participate in the league which will have matchdays only on Sundays.
