Harry Redknapp to be honoured at the 2024 London Football Awards!

The London Football Awards 2024 have announced that footballing legend Harry Redknapp has been honoured with the Outstanding Contribution to London Football award.

Harry Redknapp has had a huge influence on the landscape of London football, earning this reward in recognition of his stellar career as a player, manager and administrator. Celebrating individuals who have been influential throughout their career, the Outstanding Contribution to London Football award recognises those who have contributed substantial time and expertise to help progress and build the profile, reputation, professionalism, and community of football in the capital.

Harry’s positive imprint on London football spans throughout his incredible 60-year career in the game as a player and manager. Harry’s journey began rising through the ranks for West Ham United FC, a club dear to his heart, where he played for seven years before going on to have an extensive managerial career with the club. Harry’s managerial career also took him to Tottenham Hotspur FC and Queens Park Rangers, with a total of 14 years in charge of the three London clubs. Among many achievements included winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup for West Ham, taking Tottenham to the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals, and gaining a promotion to the Premier League with Queens Park Rangers.

Commenting on the award, Harry Redknapp said, “What an honour to be recognised for this year’s London Football Awards event which not only celebrates outstanding talent across the capital but raises funds for a great cause, Willow Foundation.
