Promoted Bundesliga side Holstein Kiel have signed defender Max Geschwill. The 22-year-old comes to the Kiel Fjord from 3.Liga side SV Sandhausen.
Max Geschwill was trained at TSG Hoffenheim’s youth academy and moved to SV Sandhausen last summer. The left-footer played a total of 31 games for the third-division club.
“With Max Geschwill, we are gaining a flexible defensive player,” explains sporting director Carsten Wehlmann, “who can be used both in central defence and on the defensive wing. We are convinced that he will take the next step with us.”
Max Geschwill on his move in the summer said, “Holstein impressed last season with its attractive football. Now I’ll be part of this story from the summer and will do everything I can to arrive as quickly as possible and integrate into this team.”
