Hyderabad FC extend contracts of Abhishek Halder & Dimple Bhagat!

Indian Super League franchise Hyderabad FC have extended the contracts of attacking midfielder Abhishek Halder and defender Dimple Bhagat by two years until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Hyderabad FC are rebuilding their squad ahead of the new ISL campaign and will have a new head coach in Albert Roca, who had earlier coached Bengaluru FC in India.

20 year old West Bengal-born Abhishek Halder has come through the FC Pune City Academy, spend a season on loan with the Indian Arrows before being part of the FC Pune City first and second teams. In the season gone by, he was part of the Hyderabad FC first team.

Abhishek Halder said, “Although I have played in the I-League and ISL before, this year was a massive learning experience for me. I got to play more games but I also realised how much competition is there in every squad and how hard we must keep working. It starts with being focused in training and working on the new philosophy which we have now with Albert Roca and Xavi Gurri.”

Meanwhile Dimple Bhagat said, “I am very happy to have extended my stay with Hyderabad FC. The club has shown faith in my ability and I want to keep working hard and repay that. It was a great experience to finally make my debut in the ISL.”

Abhishek Halder and Dimple Bhagat join India internationals Adil Khan and Nikhil Poojary besides youngsters Mohammad Yasir and Asish Rai who have also extended their stay with Hyderabad FC.
