Indian Women’s League qualifiers: Rising Students Club & KRYPHSA FC win big!

iwl-rising-students-club-royal-wahingdoh-fcThe fifth day of the preliminary round of the inaugural edition of the Indian Women’s League saw two one-sided matches with Rising Student Club trashing Royal Wahingdoh FC 13-0 and KRYHSPA FC scoring a 7-0 against UPFC.

Rising Student Club from the hosting state of Odisha decimated the Royal Wahingdoh FC girls from Meghalaya with a 13-0 scoreline at the Odisha Police grounds in Cuttack.

The goalscorers for Rising Student Club were Pyari Xaxa with seven goals in the 4th, 13th, 27th, 41st, 45th+1, 63rd, 75th minutes, a Risuk Dkhar own goal in the 47th minute, Sangita Basfore in the 53rd, 66th minutes, Sasmita Malik in the 65th minutes, Arati Anima Khadia in the 74th minutem, and Manisha Panna in the 80th minute.

The Player of the Match award went to seven time goalscorer Pyari Xaxa of Rising Student Club.

In the day’s other match Manipur’s KRYHSPA FC scored a one sided 7-0 against UPFC of Uttar Pradesh.

The goalscorers for KRYHSPA FC were D. Grace in the 8th, 15th, 51st, 64th minutes, E. Bindya Rani Devi in the 18th minute, and Roshni Devi in the 28th, 63rd minutes.

KRYHSPA FC’s four time goalscorer D. Grace was named Player of the Match.
