I-League newcomers Inter Kashi have announced the signing of English defender Peter Hartley for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
35 year old Peter Hartley, who was born in the English town of Hartlepool, in his youth played for Sunderland AFC, where he also made his senior debut.
Peter Hartley spend time on loan with Chesterfield FC before moving on to Hartlepool United. Thereafter he played for Stevenage FC, Plymouth Argyle, Bristol Rovers, and Blackpool FC before he joined Scottish side Motherwell FC on loan and then signed for them permanently.
In summer 2020, Peter Hartley moved to India to join ISL side Jamshedpur FC and became one of their key players, going on to captain the Men of Steel in their 2021/22 campaign in which the club went on to lift the ISL Shield title.
In the first half of 2023, Peter Hartley rejoined Hartlepool United.
Now Peter Hartley returns to India to join newcomers Inter Kashi.
