ISL-3: Saran Singh replaces injured Pronay Halder at Mumbai City FC!

mumbai-city-fc-saran-singhIndian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC earlier today announced that the injured India international midfielder Pronay Halder would be replaced by another midfielder in Thangjam Saran Singh, who has been signed on loan from Federation Cup champions Mohun Bagan AC for the remainder of ISL-3.

Pronay Halder, who had been a big positive for Mumbai City FC in this ISL campaign so far, will miss the rest of the league due to a hamstring injury.

Like last season Saran Singh once again joins Mumbai City FC as a replacement player only this time after playing for Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC in the Calcutta Football League.

Saran Singh had played five matches for Mumbai City FC in the second season of the Indian Super League.

An experienced player, Saran Singh has scored the winner for Salgaocar FC in the 2014 Durand Cup final. Before playing for Salgaocar FC, he achieved a lot of success playing for Churchill Brothers SC, winning the I-League – twice, the IFA Shield – once, Durand Cup – thrice and the Indian Federation Cup – once.
