ISL-4: FC Pune City sign Lolo & Stankovic to replace Grgic & Pugliara!

Indian Super League franchise FC Pune City have made some changes to their squad going into the second half of the ISL – Season 4 campaign by signing Spanish defender Manuel Jesus Ortiz Toribio and Austrian midfielder Marko Stankovic to replace Croatian defender Damir Grgic and Argentinian midfielder Robertino Pugliara.

FC Pune City have had a good campaign so far, third in the table and they aim to finally make it for the first-time into the knockout semifinals of the Indian Super League.

33 year old Huelva-born Manuel Jesús Ortiz Toribio, also known as Lolo, started his career at LaLiga FC Sevilla making his professional debut at the club. He thereafter went on to play for CF Malaga (on loan), CA Osasuna, Real Zaragoza, CF Elche, and Hercules CF. Now he leaves Spain for the first-time to move to India.

31 year old Loeben-born Marko Stankovic started his football with local side DSV Loeben for whom he also made his professional debut. He went on to play for ASK Voitsberg, SK Sturm Graz (twice), US Trietina Calcio (Italy), Austria Vienna, and SV Ried.

A regular for Austria at youth international level, Serbian origin Stankovic only played once at senior international level for Austria.
