ISL-4: Jamshedpur FC score first home win, beat Kerala Blasters 2-1!

Debutants Jamshedpur FC scored their first-ever Indian Super League home win with a 2-1 victory over the Kerala Blasters at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on Wednesday night.

The hosts had the perfect start as after only 23 seconds youngster Jerry Mawhmingthanga scored, the fastest goal in the history of the ISL.

After chances at both ends, the hosts doubled their lead in the 31st minute as a Bikash Jairu cross was put in by veteran striker Ashim Biswas for his first ISL goal. Jamshedpur FC took a 2-0 lead into the break.

The second session saw a less intense affair with loads of midfield action and the Kerala Blasters got their consolation goal in the fourth minute of injury time when Mark Sifneos scored off a Sandesh Jhingan cross, but that was too late to get something out of the game as the Steelmen kept the three points at home.
