ISL’s Delhi Dynamos welcome new co-owners in Wall Street Investments on board!

delhi-dynamos-gmsOn the back of a season opening win against the defending champions Chennaiyin FC, the Delhi Dynamos FC have announced the inclusion of a new co-owner ahead of their second clash against Kerala Blasters FC in the third edition of the Indian Super League.

The new majority co-owner, Wall Street Investments, is represented by Dr. Anil Sharma led Global Marketing Systems (GMS) who will be joining hands with Sameer Manchanda of DEN Networks to help build North India’s only football club in the ISL.

Acting as the representative agent for Wall Street Investments, GMS was originally incorporated in the USA and currently has offices in nine countries throughout the world. GMS has been a pioneer in the ship recycling industry as the world’s largest Buyer of ships and offshore assets. It’s President and CEO, Dr. Anil Sharma, is looking forward to sharing his business expertise with the Club and leading the team to new heights and hopefully, one day to a championship.

On coming aboard as one of the new owners of the Club, Dr. Sharma commented, “Our investment in Delhi Dynamos FC is one made to add to the growing market of football in India. Investments made in the right entity are essential for building infrastructure and credibility in the market and Delhi Dynamos FC has had an incredible track record over the past two years of creating value and awareness about the sport. The Indian Super League is experiencing a remarkable growth in India and is found at a crucial stage of development, as football has become the second most watched sport in the country. Delhi Dynamos FC has an inspirational role of bringing people of all age groups together with a shared passion and we shall look to expand that further.”

Furthermore, Rohan Sharma has come from the USA to join the Club full time in New Delhi where he is overseeing all operations related to quality control and the successful development of the investment. Mr. Sharma is committed to a hands on approach to building both the brand and status of the Club.

Sameer Manchanda, Chairman and Managing Director of DEN Networks expressed his thoughts on the newly restructured management of the Delhi Dynamos F.C. and said, “I am delighted to have a prominent business leader like Dr. Sharma joining the Management Board of the Club. I am sure that his extensive experience in business management combined with a highly successful record in multi-faceted business investments at a global level, will add value to the Club.
