German kit maker JAKO has created a new range of match kits for the Macedonian national football team reminiscent of the national symbol “Sun of Freedom”. During the presentation of the jerseys, JAKO also announced the extension of their partnership until at least 2018 in the Macedonia FA.
The new home kit of the Macedonians is predominantly red. From the coat of arms of the football federation on the heart side, eight yellow rays run over the front jersey area, above it is a jersey number with rounded figures placed. The short stand-up collar and two fine yellow lines give the jersey a dynamic look.
The signature “JAKO” and the typical JAKO dots are placed in the usual places in the chest and shoulder area. The outfit is designed in the same way, with red details on a gray background. Macedonia’s goalkeepers are running in JAKO blue and black-yellow game wear.
Macedonia played their first game in their new look in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying group G earlier this week against Israel, which the team lost 1-2. On Sunday, October 9, Macedonia debut the away kit against the mighty Italians.
