iSportconnect announces new panellists for Directors’ Club – Olympic Special!

iSportconnect logoiSportconnect, the world’s largest private network for sport business professionals, is delighted to announce three new panellists for our Directors Club – Olympics Special Edition in partnership with the British Olympic Association.

The new additions include:

Sir Keith Mills, Former Deputy Chairman of London Organising Committee of Olympic Games (LOGOC)

Dame Tessa Jowell, Former Olympic Minister (London 2012)

– David Sparkes, General Secretary of European Swimming (LEN)

The event will take place at the BOA’s offices in London on the 11th July – less than a month before the start of the Rio 2016 Games.

This will be the third Directors’ Club of the year, after a successful London Directors’ Club in March and the Paris Directors’ Club which takes place on July 7.

iSportconnect are delighted to have the Deputy Chairman of LOGOC, Sir Keith Mills as one of the Olympic panellists. In September 2003, Mills was appointed International President and CEO of London 2012, the company that was established to bid for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Sir Keith will be joined by Dame Tessa Jowell who was the former Olympic Minister during the London 2012 Bid. Prior to this, Jowell was notably Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, a post she held from 2001 to 2007.

David Sparkes, General Secretary of European Swimming (LEN) has been involved in Swimming for over 40 years, having been appointed as CEO of the Amateur Swimming Association and British Swimming in 1994. In July 2014 after both organisations separated, Sparkes became CEO of British Swimming.

The three new panellists will be joining previously announced Bill Sweeney, the CEO of the BOA on the panel at the event.
