JAKO set to kit Regionalliga side TuS Haltern!

From the 2019/20 season onwards, JAKO is set to be the new kit partner of promoted Regionalliga (fourth division) side TuS Haltern on a four year deal until 2023.

The supply of textiles, their refinement and further creative support is provided by Outfitter Teamsport GmbH.

Christoph Metzelder, 1st Chairman of TuS Haltern, is pleased about the two new partners, “The enthusiasm for football and the digital approaches of Outfitter and JAKO complement each other very well with the philosophy of TuS Haltern. JAKO as team sports brand, the constant availability of the goods and the professional support convinced us during a visit on site. Outfitter’s finishing of the Bundesliga-quality textiles rounds off this collaboration in the future.”

Tobias Röschl, Sales Director of JAKO, said, “The strategy of TuS Haltern fits in perfectly with our brand. We got to know the club and its leaders in many personal conversations and are absolutely convinced of the idea of positioning itself as a proverbial spearhead in amateur football. In close cooperation with Outfitter, we will be the ideal partner for all teams of TuS Haltern from the Bambinis to the Regionalliga team.”

Maximilian Albert, CEO of Outfitter and Head of Teamsports & Athleisure at Signa Sports United, sees this in a similar vein, “As a traditional club and role model for many amateur clubs, TuS Haltern fits in very well with its clear goals. We are very pleased to have convinced the TuS Haltern of our concept and our ideas.”

After rising from the Oberliga Westfalen TuS Haltern plays from the 2019/20 season in the Regionalliga West and would like to continue the concept with young motivated players. With around 1,000 members in eight different sports departments, the TuS Haltern of 1882 e.V. is one of the largest and oldest sports clubs on the northern edge of the Ruhr area.
