Jammu&Kashmir’s first professional State Football Academy set for trials!

Under the initiative of the J&K State Sports Council, the State Football Academy is set to hold trials for aspiring footballers who wish to join the one of a kind academy which is billed to nurture and promote talent of the local boys to the national level.

Under the leadership of former India international from the valley Mehrajuddin Wadoo, who will spearhead this project, the academy will run throughout the year providing modern football training methodology and playing opportunities to players to showcase their talents at national level. The academy as per modern football guidelines will look to focus on the three main age groups Under-13, U-15, U-18 and will be registered with the J&K Football Association.

In this regard the State Football Academy is all set to hold their trials from Thursday, May 18, 2017 onwards.

Interested players are asked to report to Synthetic Turf TRC in Srinagar as per given schedule:

U-13 age group
May 18/19 from 3:30pm onwards
Born between 2004 to 2007

U-15 age group
May 20 from 3:30pm onwards, May 21 from 8am onwards
Born between 2002 to 2003

U-18 age group
May 22/23 from 3:30pm onwards
Born between 1999 to 2001

Youngsters interested in the trials are advised to come on time along with their original birth certificate and proper playing kit.
