Jamshedpur FC look forward to first ISL-10 at the Furnace!

Jamshedpur FC’s entire team visited the JRD Tata Sports Complex ahead of their first home match against Hyderabad FC, scheduled for October 5.

Scott Cooper and his team held an extensive meeting in the Men of Steel’s dressing room before the crucial match. The entire team was filled with excitement as they explored the match pitch in preparation for the game. For many players, this visit marked their first experience at the stadium, and they were captivated by the aura of the Furnace. They are eagerly looking forward to playing in front of the passionate red miners and making the steel city proud.

Scott Cooper, accompanied by Chanakya Choudhary (Vice President – Corporate Services, Tata Steel), and Mukul Choudhari (CEO, Jamshedpur FC), had the opportunity to meet with esteemed editors and sports journalists from various newspaper publications and news agencies. During their interactions, Scott expressed his anticipation for the upcoming match against Hyderabad FC, saying, “We are all thrilled to play in front of the red miners at the Furnace. It’s going to be a tough match, but the boys are all geared up and excited to make the fans proud. I understand the essence of Jamshedpur, having grown up in Sheffield, which is also a steel city in England. In that regard, I am very familiar with how community-driven the people are, and we are confident that we will receive tremendous support from our proud and passionate fans.”

He also emphasized, “We have some promising recruits, such as Elsinho, who has proven to be the best Centre Back in the entire ISL, and Jeremy Manzorro, who has become a crucial playmaker for the team. Emil Benny and Nongdambaw Naorem, who were neglected or underused by their respective teams in the past, have showcased exceptional skills and potential for our team. They will undoubtedly be formidable opponents for our rivals.”
