Jamshedpur FC players to watch out against FC Goa in the Super Cup!

As Jamshedpur FC kick off their Super Cup campaign against FC Goa, here are some of the Men of Steel you want to keep an eye on when the two sides go head-to-head!

TP Rehenesh

Playing his third season for the club, TP Rehenesh has been an absolute beast between the sticks for the Men of Steel since the very beginning. The custodian hailing from Kerala is one of the most reliable and consistent goalkeepers in the league currently.

TP Rehenesh is always nimble on his feet to make diving saves and quick parries to make sure the ball stays out of the net. Despite an injury-filled season costing him the needed game time this season, TP Rehenesh made sure to register some solid stops everytime he started for the team and is a tough man to beat on the goalline.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas

A product of the Arsenal academy, JET has spent most of his career in the United Kingdom, playing in the top ranks of the country as well as Europe. Making his move to Jamshedpur FC in the start of the 2022-23 season, JET quickly settled into the team’s attacking side and became a driving force in the middle of the pitch as a centre-attacking midfielder.

With his smooth dribbles, powerful long rangers and unbeatable physicality, JET is truly a menace to the opposition and can also give all sorts of problems to the opposition with his set-pieces. The Englishman scored on 2 occasions for the Men of Steel and constantly inflicted damage to the opposition defence using his attacking prowess. JET will surely be a man to keep at bay for the FC Goa defence.

Boris Singh

Joining the Men of Steel in the January transfer window of 2021, Boris Singh quickly sealed his spot in the starting XI under the guidance of former Gaffer, Owen Coyle. The youngster played a crucial role as a young powerhouse in the attacking third in the club’s League Shield winning campaign, appearing twice on the scoresheet along with two assists.

He’s a constant threat to the opposition as he uses his unbeatable pace and quick feet to his advantage to penetrate into the box. Boris is always on the move all around the pitch and is tough to deal with when he bolts off with the ball in his control. The FIFA U-17 World Cup international will be another attacking threat that the Gaurs will have to keep an eye on during their clash.
