Jamshedpur FC retains defender Karan Amin!

Jamshedpur FC has retained defender Karan Amin for the ISL 2020-21. Karan has been part of the Jamshedpur FC squad since the club’s inception in 2017 having represented the club across three ISL seasons and twice at the AIFF Super Cup.

The Right-Back’s addition to the squad adds depth to Jamshedpur FC’s defence line consisting of Dinliana, Eze, Hartley, Narender, Ricky, Joyner, Jitendra and Mandi.

On extending his stay an ecstatic Karan said, “I am extremely delighted to stay with Jamshedpur FC. I want to keep on playing as many games as possible, get better and contribute as much as possible for the top spot this year.”

The Mumbai-born footballer made his debut with Jamshedpur in 2017-18 in the AIFF Super Cup. Karan’s contribution to many football tournaments, the youth set-ups of I-League teams like Mumbai FC and Air India, and Second Division League for PIFA (2014) illustrates his long career and experience.

Karan also mentioned his love for Jamshedpur as he said, “Jamshedpur FC holds a special place in my heart. The club has given me so much, the fans have showed so much affection and the city has become like my 2nd home.”

The defender will continue wearing no. 27 for the upcoming season of the ISL.
