Jamshedpur FC sign back Gourav Mukhi & promote Sandip Mandi to First Team!

Jamshedpur FC have signed back Gaurav Mukhi and promoted U-18 Elite Team talent Sandip Mandi from the Tata Football Academy to their senior team. They have both been handed a contract each with Antonio Iriondo’s side for the 2019/20 season.

With a goal and an assist in the Indian Super League (ISL) already under his name, forward Gourav Mukhi, will look to add to his tally. The local lad was seen linking-up, upfront with the likes of Tim Cahill, Carlos Calvo and Sergio Cidoncha in the 2018-19 edition of the ISL before he was suspended for 12 months for overage fraud as he wasn’t the ISL’s youngest goalscorer at 16 but was in reality 28 years of age.

Defender Sandip Mandi on the other hand will eye his debut in the ISL in Jamshedpur FC colours. Mandi is a product of the TFA and has been working hard under the watchful eye of the Jamshedpur FC Reserve Team head coach Kundan Chandra. The young aspirant has made an appearance in the Durand Cup during his stint with the Reserves.

Jamshedpur FC is elated to have handed the two deserving rising stars of tomorrow a platform to showcase their abilities and prove their worth on the field.
