Jamshedpur FC U-18 drew 2–2 against Sports Hotel Odisha in Cuttack!

The Jamshedpur FC U-18 team played their first zonal game of the U-18 Youth League 2018/19 and drew 2–2 against Sports Hostel Odisha at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. Playing a highly competitive away match, the Jamshedpur FC U-18’s equalised through Pukhrambam Manisana in the second half.

It was an extensively important game for Jamshedpur FC U-18 squad as they got to know the challenge ahead of them was a huge step forward from playing in their comfort zone. And Sports Hostel Odisha dominated the first half, keeping the Jamshedpur FC keeper busy the whole time and eventually the former succumbed to our squads’ impressive performance in the remaining half of the game.

With Sapam Singh scoring the first goal, it made the team incline towards positivity which later gave a good result with Pukhrambam equalising for Jamshedpur FC. Although it’s the first game of the league, the Jamshedpur FC U-18 squad showed some massive team spirit throughout the game and managed to draw against a strong opponent.

It was a challenging outing for the boys. Their next challenge awaits in the form of Jharkhand’s Sail Football Academy whom they face at the Tinplate Sports Complex on Tuesday, November 20 at 2:30pm.
