Sevilla FC president, José María del Nido Carrasco and Jesús Navas have agreed that the Sevilla FC legend will renew his contract until December 31, 2024. After hanging up his boots he will take up a position within the club for life.
Jesús Navas wanted to send the following message to Sevillistas: “I didn’t take a minute for me to reply to the President’s offer. I want to retire in Nervión. I am very happy to continue at the club that I love.”
He added, “My desire, which I have communicated to the President, is to continue playing until December in a transition to continue helping the team. Then I will hang up my boots having lived the dream that I always dreamed of playing for.” To finish, he said “in the my final few months as a professional footballer I will not earn my salary. Instead, the money will be donated to a foundation which has been agreed with the president. That is my decision. I want the fans to know everything.”
